Upset between Matt Smith and Stuart Williams as Stu went up in smoke off the line. Similar problem for Gary Gooding against Jon Webster who had a cloud of smoke after the finish line; the track crew checked for, and found, oil. After the cleanup Al Williamson ran a strong pass.

It's a sunny morning with just a few clouds in the sky. The traditional Raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is tuned in from Rye, NH. Hope you are doing OK Kathy. A big Good Morning to all the Eurodragsterholics too.

After four sessions of qualifying over Saturday and Sunday we are into eliminations today. starting at 10am. The running order is here. There won't be pit notes this weekend as your pit reporter is acting as race reporter and News Editor Tog will be taking pictures of the on-track action.

Tog will be at the top end taking parachute shots during the first round of eliminations.
