Race day opened with an immaculately-observed minute's silence to honour Terry Gibbs.

Adrian Lockley battles to keep down the front end of his Super Street Bike as the boost from the turbo comes in.

Not a bad weekend for Andy Chilton on his return to Pro ET with PBs on every pass, culminating in an 8.881.

Chris Mott has added wheelie bars to his former Supertwin Modified Harley V-Rod and is now campaigning it in Supertwin Top Gas.

Graham Fairhead advanced through the first round of VW Sportsman with an on-the-brakes 15.330 on his 15.20 dial in.

Ian Marshall was at the wheel of the Highlander Super Mod this weekend, the Camaro having had a new hood scoop and a freshen of the paint amongst other off-season work.

Anyone who has read today's race report will know why anyone needing to borrow some fuel will probably not be going to Super Pro ET racer John Everitt!

John Floyd put it all together and unleashed the sort of run he has been threatening for a while with a stunning 8.875 from the little two-stroke Supertwin Top Gas bike.

Kev Perkins pulled his usual storming burnout at the wheel of Graham Ellis' Super Mod Cutlass...

...Unfortunately as he opened the driver-side door to let out some of the burnout smoke a vicious gust of wind took the door clean off!

It was a family affair for Charlotte and Tom Watts as they faced off in the first round of Junior Dragster: Tom took the win.

Neil Dickson advanced through round one of Supertwin Street with a 10.931.

Nigel Turner shows that there is no lack of grip as his Super Pro ET dragster picks up the front end nicely on the launch.

Talbot Racing returned to competition for the first time since transmission damage at last year's FIA European Finals. Pat's 7.813 first round win on a 7.74 dial-in suggests all is well again in the Talbot pit.

Paul Knight, sporting VP Racing Fuels sponsorship courtesy of Motorshack, was DQd in round one of Super Comp after deep staging.

Look closely at the butterflies on Paul "Guv" Wright's Outlaw Anglia. Looks like someone fitted one of them upside down!

Ray Guy laid down this wild, out of shape burnout in the first round of Outlaw Anglia.

#1 qualifier Richard Hann launches his 9.50 Bike hard on his bye run in the first round of eliminations.

After spending all day racing one another at the Test and Tune two weeks ago, Scott Collier and Jake Carruthers met again in round one of Junior Drag Bike: Scott won.

Scott McCarthy advanced to the semi-finals of Super Street before the weather brought proceedings to an end.

Steve Carey lost out to Steve Woollatt in Top Fuel Bike, but we suspect that his 7.007/200.05 timing ticket will be some consolation.

Steve Dunn and Jon Evans continue the process of getting their Camaro dialled in for Super Gas.

Steve Wells was another Outlaw Anglia racer laying down a smoky burnout, winning the Moving Parts Burnout Bonanza for this superb display.

David Coleman and Helen Todd of Power Point Communications flank commentator Paul Venners. This is the team which brings us the excellent Ultimate Power, Street Eliminator, Super Mod and NFAA DVDs.
