Race Director has Jane Read has informed us that the race has been called in view of the weather conditions for today. That's the end of our coverage after two days of qualifying. Our next race coverage will be from Tog and Kirstie, to whom a big Good Morning, at VW Action next weekend.

Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway for our coverage of the APIRA Open Sport Nationals held by APIRA and brought to you in association with Alamo Rent-A-Car.

The traditional Raceday Good Morning to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is currently visiting Amsterdam. Hope you've found the cheese Kathy. Also a very Happy Birthday to Wild Bunch Nostalgia Drag Racing Club Chairman Chris Hartnell who is unable to be here this weekend, we hope you're well Chris and see you back at the track soon.

After two days of sunshine with only the odd shower, we are faced with what some would call normal bank holiday weather conditions, low cloud and drizzle. Although the drizzle has abated, it is still not clear enough for the track staff to start drying work. We will update you as soon as we hear.
