Tune back in the morning and we'll bring you all the news from day two of qualifying here at Shakespeare County Raceway. 18:15 Lucas Oil Junior Dragster qualifying top five after session 2 Improvement for Rhiannon Bellenie but moved down a spot as Brad Jackson took #3 in the other lane. Two pairs later Jacob Kopasz took the lead and almost took the Eurodragster.com/ModUrStang Perfect Light Award with a 0.001. Last pair and Stacey Reed moved into #4.
Funny Bike qualifying after session 2 Nick Daniels' crew shut him off sharpish after his burnout, fluid leak. In the other lane Mike Olie took #3 spot with his first run of the day, something came off the bike at the finish line. Improvement for Kars van den Belt but stayed in #5.
That's qualifying done for today. The webcam will be shut off very shortly but stay tuned as we are starting work on today's gallery and Simon has more pit notes for you. 18:05 Pro ET qualifying top five after session 2 Ian Brown into #2 in the third pair. Two pairs later Bob Lees moved up to #2. Next up the ladder was Billy Gane, in at #4 in the penultimate pair of the session.
Sportsman ET qualifying top five after session 2 Craig Wright up to #2 in the first pair. Sara Unsowrh took over #2 spot two pairs later whilst in the other lane Sean Armstrong took #4. Next pair and Tethys took over #1 spot and in the other lane Ian Petrie moved up to #3. Stephen Cherrett into #4 spot next pair.
17:45 Super Street Bike qualifying top five after session 2 Richard Hann up to #2 in the first pair, improvement from Steve Venables but no move. Garry Bowe in at #5 next pair only to be deposed by Graham Dance in the next pairing.
9.50 Bike qualifying after session 2 Improvement for aaron Sparks but stayed in #2 spot at that point. Paul Furlong and Leigh Russon into #2 and #3 side-by-side in the next pair. Consistency for #1 qualifier and Eurodragster.com sponsor Fred Furlong, 9.610 last session and 9.611 this session.
17:35 VW Sportsman qualifying top five after session 2 Dean Clatworthy into #1 spot in the second pair, Dennis Cox into #4 in the other lane. We then had a hold for rain which was quite heavy for a short while.
Junior Drag Bike qualifying top five after session 2 Alfie Udall into #4 in the first pair. Louis Davies next to make a move, up to #2 next pair.
16:40 Super Comp qualifying after session 2 Brian Pateman into #2 spot after having to shut off in the first session.
VW Pro qualifying after session 2 0.002 RT from Matt Attwood in the first pair, closest so far to the Eurodragster.com/ModUrStang Perfect Light Award. Matt into #1 spot and in the other lane Paul Herbert into #2. Bruce Collins into #4 spot in the last run of the session.

Supertwin Gas qualifying top five after session 2 Bucking Bronco launch on top of a 0.003 RT for Jo Brookes in the first pair, the bike eventually pitching her off at sixty feet or so. For a moment it looked as if she was sliding into the path of Nigel Batsford's bike and Nigel with great presence of mind got off the throttle and out of the way, idling up the track. Jo stood straight up and the safety crew were there as she got up, very rapid response from everyone on the start line, great job guys. The bike looks just fine save a broken windscreen. On the restart Chris Mott moved up to #3 and more left there as he was off the gas early. Terry Green took #3 spot in the last pair and Nigel Batsford granted a re-run took #5.
Supertwin ET qualifying after session 2 Big improvement for Giselle to take over #1 spot.
16:10 Super Pro ET qualifying top five after session 2 Paul Brown took over the lead in the first pair, in the other lane John Atkinson improved but only good for #2 now. Next pair and Deborah Laugher took over #2 and Jack Brewster moved up to #4. Dave Catton took #5 spot next pair. Next pair and Eurodragster.com sponsor Pete Walters took over the lead. Last pair and Ian Powell moved up to #5 spot.
Super Street qualifying after session 2 Harrison Brown first into the 10.9s and into #1 spot first pair. Next pair and Leigh Morris took over the lead.
15:55 Outlaw Anglia qualifying after session 2 Improvement for Colin Millar consolidated his #1 spot at that point. Wayward first run for Rob Stone. Last but one pair and Steve Wells took over #1 spot.
Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator qualifying top five after session 2 Jeff Meads up to #4 spot in the first pair. Wayward launch for Andy Bond, the Mustang turning right but he had a good hold of it. Brian Payne took #1 spot with the last run of the session.
15:45 Clean-up from Mark Smith's motor complete it then rained and hailed for a few minutes but we're back in business now. 8.50 Bike qualifying top five after session 2 Martin Wilson up to #4 in the second pair only for Dave Thomas to take it back off him next pair. Next pair and Phil Bloomfield moved up to #5.
13:45 Comp Bike qualifying after session 2 Harold Wolfenden into #2 spot in the first pair, all eyes on Phil Crossley in the other lane as his motor blew out a huge puff of smoke. Improvements for Phil Leamon and Nick Milburn next pair but both stayed in place.
Pro Stock Bike qualifying after session 2 Huge cloud of smoke and a scream for mercy from the motor of Mark Smith's Draper Tools-sponsored bike about 100 feet out. The track crew are out cleaning up the length of Mark's lane.
13:35 Wild Bunch qualifying top five after session 2 Bob Hawkins up into #2 spot first pair. Improvement for Dave Williams next pair but stayed in place.
Super Gas qualifying after session 2 Brian Pateman in at #2 second pair, in the other lane Jon Turner went closer yet to 9.900 and consolidated his #1 spot. Stu Doignie and Mark White into #2 and #3 side-by-side in the last pair.
13:10 Funny Bike qualifying after session 1 Maarten Zijlstra's bike shed one side of its wheelie bar panel at about sixty feet and then the other side at about half track.

10:35 Wild Bunch qualifying top five after session 1 Zinged motor and driveline parts on the track when Adz Price launched. Adz was off the throttle instantly which will have saved the motor. Nigel of the safety crew tells us that the rear end UJ broke. Breakout for Andy Murphy on his first run with the new B'Sting altered.

10:00 Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway for our coverage of the Voltz Energy Shots Springspeed Nationals brought to you in association with Alamo Rent-A-Car. The Webster Race Engineering/Nimbus Motorsport webcam is on-line and will be broadcasting video and audio as long as the track is open. Thanks to our good buddies at Doyousee.me for streaming facilities. It's a nice day here at Shakey, the sun is in and out so the track is warming up (59 F right now) but the air is cool so I am guessing that we will get a few breakouts first session. We have three cycles of qualifying scheduled today and we are due to start very shortly with the Wild Bunch. Stay tuned and as soon as the wheels start to turn we will bring you the news.
