gear. Tony on and off the throttle again.

Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association session 1 (left lane first):
Neil Townson no time, Bob Glassup no time;
Tony Betts 11.516/86.95 bye;
Joe Bond 16.501/38.41 bye
The revs on Neil's motor were very high after his burnout and he shut off after returning to the start line.
Neil says that it looks to be an inlet manifold gasket and that he shut off the burnout early as the motor didn't
sound right. Bob Glassup couldn't get reverse after a great burnout and drove down the track. Looked like a checkout for
Tony, on and off the throttle all the way. Joe's motor almost died as he went to burn out, on the power to
sixty feet then off the throttle, another stab then the altered headed for the centre line and Joe shut off.
Trackside conditions are 16.5 C, 46% humidity and 29.68 inches of air.

The hood scoop of Ashley Bell's Cobra came off the car at the eighth, not too much damage to the scoop

Good morning and welcome from Shakespeare County Raceway for our coverage of the Springspeed Nationals brought to you
in association with American Car Imports.
The Webster Race
Engineering/Nimbus Motorsport webcam is on-line and
posting a picture every sixty seconds.
Before we go any further we must thank Nigel Statham whose mobile internet connection we are using. We have had a problem
or two with the web access here at SCR but the Tech Crew are knocking themselves out to sort it out - thanks to Simon Day
and Wayne Schreier who have gone above and beyond and even now are working to restore normal service.
We are due to start at 10:00 with Pro ET qualifying and there are three compete cycles scheduled today. There is a chance
that we will start slightly late as it rained overnight, however is is now a gloriously sunny day and the track crew have been hard
at work and the track is looking pretty good.
We will be tracking the top fives in qualifying this weekend and then the winners of each round of eliminations on Monday.
Stay tuned and as soon as the wheels start to turn we'll bring you the news.
