Kevin Kent 5.7854/124.45 Kevin deep staged with a slight delay but Jason had the much better reaction time 0.0145 to 0.2162 Jason went 0.9895 to 60ft and 3.8495/164.52 to Kevin's 0.9693 and 4.0038/140.10 as he lost traction and shut off. Kevin's loss gives the championship to Steve Ashdown, in line behind Kevin, whose team made the sporting gesture of all going over to Steve's team and congratulating them. Crew chief Dave Bryant commented "We have done a huge amount of work to get here". Ida's dragster up on the tyres for the third run in a row, looking like clutch malfunction, as Susanne went 0.8478 to 60ft and 3.1672/224.55 to half track, clicking it soon afterwards. Antti Horto 4.9219/145.69 bye Congratulations to Antti on his first FIA championship which he achieved by taking the green. It also confirms Susanne as runner up in the championship. Antti went 0.8555 to 60ft and 3.4240/169.75 to the eighth by which Antti had lifted. 13:35 FIM-E Super Street Bike eliminations round 1 Bye for Daniel Lencses, then Ross Morrison v Alan Morrison Jnr close race without Alan's feet on the pegs. Garry Bowe well ahead of Margot Schmidt who ran her second seven of the event, big holeshot for Mogens Lund against Steve Mead, Steve Venables got a bye in round 2 by defeating Rodulfo Maduro, Jake Mechaell over Steve Wood. Mathias Bohlin had a big wheelie off the line against Mark Hope who ran a great 7.12.

Collin Morrice broke out by the least against Ash Bell, Callum Swinchatt over Mick Taylor whose Fordson made a move towards the right wall in his run, Tom Atkinson closer to dial than Mark Coulsell, MOV 0.0225, margin of 15 inches or 0.0048 between Brian Pateman (RT 0.0022) and Mark Flavell, bye for Lee Darby over no-show Bob Doyle. Colin Millar closer to dial than Harrison Brown who had problems and slowed. Joe Kellett on a bye with Thomas Haas broken and no-show, full pass with a 0.05 package. Mark Turner with Kent Eriksson from Michael Malmgren's team staging him, ran a bye in the absence of broken Martyn Jones. 10:30 Junior dragsters have been called to the lanes, and will run first, followed by other classes in the running order. 09:15 Good morning and welcome to the final day of our coverage of the 2022 FIA/FIM-E European Finals from Santa Pod Raceway. When we thought we couldn't be thrown any more curved balls with the weather, we were wrong: there's quite a thick fog here and whilst there is no precipitation, there is mist in the air and the humidity is around 90%, the temperature of 14C is only a couple of degrees above the dew point. However with some more heat the fog should disappear. The track crew are working hard to ensure that when conditions improve, racing can take place as soon as possible. Today is eliminations day for all classes, there is a revised running order as we will be starting with Pro ET, Super Pro ET and Junior Dragster which were planned for yesterday.
