Yesterday was marred by rain during the morning and a top end crash at the end of the afternoon, however there were some high points, notably the debut of Sam and Olly Young's Black Current 4, a sleek looking all electric New Beetle which you can see in yesterday's gallery. There were also a few PBs set, notably James Willday in his rotary powered Mazda RX8 who ran a 7.52 and 7.69 both at just under 180mph with soft launches. We also some great runs from Pro Mods, with Swedish visitor Jan Ericsson starting where he left off in 2019 with a 5.906/242. Today will be Big Bracket and open qualifying, Big Bracket having their own lane in the pairing area so other cars can make qualifying runs at will. There will be jet car demos between 12:00-13:00 and 16:20-16:30, all timings subject to track conditions. Qualifying will end at 20:00 and the first round heads up draw will be at 20:30.
