Good morning and welcome to day three of our Mopar Euro Nationals coverage. The weather is overcast with temperatures of 16C rising to 18C with wind of 5mph. We've had some drizzle in the last half hour but that has cleared and the track is starting to dry with both track dryers out on duties. Keep tuned for further weather updates.
Yesterday we had a good day of racing although we lost the third qualifying session and first round of Nostalgia Superstock eliminations. So when we start with Nostalgia Superstock E1 there will be action thick and fast. News from the Pro Mod pits is that Kev Slyfield was able to replace two melted pistons and Annie Wallace who had a brush with the wall was surveying the damage to the car which looks to be superficial, and is expected to reappear on track this morning for a final qualifying session.
A big hello to Eurodragsterholics everywhere. Hi to our US correspondent Kathy Hileman and to Kai Plathan in Finland. Happy Birthday to Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator racer and points leader Andy Bond. Whilst we're waiting to start, check out the galleries from yesterday thanks to Diana, Kirstie and Julian. At the top of the pit pictures gallery you will see the efforts made by Wild Bunch team Tight Fit and their driver Steve Heaven to change the gearing in the rear axle to hopefully enable the car to run in the sevens. Unfortunately the pinion was found to be loose when going to the pairing lanes.
As usual, the live stream will be switched on when racing starts.
