Tim to sixty in 1.0492, shake and a move right, off the has before 330 feet. Nce burnout by Paul then signalled to shut off, body lifted and a blast of CO2 from a fire extinguisher on the left side of the motor. Smalll puddle of oil on the track when the car was pushed back. Jason with a pedal at 300 feet and off the gas, through the eighth in 4.6304/119.19. Tractor called to sled Jason's lane and clean-up called in the shutdown area. Steve to sixty in 1.0173 with shake, off the gas about 150 feet out, Kevin in 0.9647 also with shake which cleared past the Tree, then also off the gas about 150 feet out. Fire went away then briefly back again. Safety crews moved very quickly, emergency gate was opened and vehicles rolling as soon as Patrik passed. Tractor called to sled Patrik's lane. Word from the top end is that the belly pan under the motor was full of oil and crew were pulling out chunks of metal. Liam to sixty in 0.8391 with shake, 0.8245 for Maja which is the quickest sixty I have ever seen. Looked from here as if Liam's front end was up and thumped down, am off the gas before 330 feet, Maja to 330 feet in 2.1376, the eighth in 3.0440/278.68 then smoke from the motor and a flash of flame from the right side of the motor, car made a move towards the right lane after the stripe. Quickest-ever Top Fuel run in Europe, new European ET record for Maja, well done Maja, Rune and team! Susanne's motor took two goes at firing up, a bang on the second attempt but all OK. 0.8505 to sixty for Susanne, 0.8620 for Stig, shake for both and both off the gas at 100 feet. Jndia to sixty in 0.8631, Anita in 0.8471 with visible shake and a drift right. 2.1982 to 330 feet for Jndia, 2.1894 for Anita, Anita's tyre tracks stop about 400 feet out. Similar story for Robin, motor stopped but restarted. Instant hideous shake for Robin, got off the gas immediately. Michael to sixty in 0.9692, the eighth in 4.2387/164.72. Robin refired and idled through, clocks timed out. 0.0090 RT for Bengt but instant shake, off the gas and rolled through. Check of Manty's lane, crew picking up small pieces but they weren't out there for very long. Jonny to sixty in 0.9302 with shake and then his tyres started to smoke, Sandrooo to sixty in 0.9394 driving through shake, FC moved left but he stayed with it. Jonny's dragster made a move left and he was off the gas, Sandro to the eighth in 3.6388/210.48. Qualifying after this session:
Sascha Pretzsch followed with another licencing pass in his Top Methanol FC. Jon calmly staged and waited for the Tree. Sixty in 1.0341, car headed left but he stayed with it, no eighth mile time as Mick had punted the reflectors. Jean to sixty in 1.0191, tyres blackstriping and the Camaro moving left. Marck to sixty in 0.9754, bad shake and the car moved left, pedalled and got back on it. Jean's car made a hard move right at the eighth 4.0612/182.74, saw the side of the car but he pulled it straight and wasn't getting off the gas. Marck to the eighth in 4.3666/177.53 after the pedal. Michel with instat shake and screaming motor, 1.0080 to sixty veering left, Kev with shake too, 1.1105 and a pedal, back on the gas. Miche's car made a hard left and was up on three wheels, got off the gas. Kev to the eighth in 4.2215/188.62. Marcus to sixty in 1.0228 driving through mild shake, 0.9773 for Micke with shake rendering the back of the car bluury but Micke got through it, 4.0694/190.15 at the eighth. A pedal for Marcus and then a puff of black smoke from his headers, 4.2144/173.63 at the eighth. Freddy rolled to 1000 feet after his burnout. 1.0579 to sixty and shake, 1.0061 for JT with mild shake. About 400 feet out there was a bang from Freddy's motor, smoke and that was his race run. Bobby left Dmitry for dead at the Tree, not that it matters ni qualifying, to the sixty in 1.0011 driving through mild shake, Dmitry to sixty in 1.0032 driving through high frequency shake and a little move right, think I heard a pedal in there. Bobby visibly ahead at the eighth 3.9245/188.07 to Dmitry's 4.0793/182.55. no burnout for Roger, motor coughed and that was as lively as it got. Didn' thurt him though, 0.9890 to sixty, 1.0469 for Kim with bad shake and a move left, had to get off the gas. Roger to the eighth in 3.9085/193.72. David to sixty in 0.9582, Mats in 0.9396 both driving through mild shake. David visibly ahead at the eighth 3.8048/195.40 to Mats' 3.8726/191.76 whch wasn't exactly hanging around, in the secon dhalf smoke from david's motor and the car was not visible through the smoke on the stripe, off the gas just short. jan to sixty in 0.9672, Jimmy in 0.9773 with shake which persisted and he had to back out of it as the Old 51 turned left. 15:15 Secret Worx Comp Eliminator qualifying session 9 0.0083 RT and his first seven for Kev Jenkins, well done Kev and team! Stayed #8. Shake and a move towards the guardrail for Kev Perkins, kept a good hold of it and didn't get off the gas, nice driving. Big improvement for Andy Hone, in at #7.

Shake and move right for Andy, got off the gas. Chris Orthodoxou in the Pro Mod drove through shake, shut it off in the second half. Ball of flame at the hit and thrown bug catcher for Rene Ehrismann, stopped a few feet out, pushed back. Next pair and Dirk Peiler couldn't get reverse after his burnout, trans brake button stuck in, pushed back then shut off before staging. Robin Sattler took the bye, quicker still, took back #1 spot.
