First outing for Andy in the Nitro Bug. Push-assisted reverse after the strong-sounding burnout.
1.2259 to sixty then off the gas, a couple of blips and idled through. Straight, nicely-controlled burnout
for Paul in the Chi Town Hustler Dodge Omni FC. 1.2250 to sixty, feather of the throttle, then off the gas altogether
about 150 feet out. Next a match between Tim in the Apache FC and Robin Read in the blown-nitro Daimler dragster.
Tim away first 0.2315 to 0.3110, the quicker sixty 1.0630 to 1.0997, off the gas after the eighth 4.0766/168.97 and chutes out
before the traps. Robin through the eighth in 4.6521/151.62 and stayed on the gas all the way. Tony in the Venom
FC got to sixty in 1.1603, the eighth in 4.2173/177.60 the the revs shot up and the FC moved left, Tony off
the gas and chutes out.

It is a beautiful warm and sunny afternoon here at Santa Pod and we have had a great day of Run What You Brung. Currently on a break to
prep the track as we have a cycle of qualifying commencing 17:00 which covers most classes; you can check out the provisional running order
