20:25 Outlaw Anglia qualifying session 3 First pair and Jedd Guy's 7.7781/169.87 good for #1 but a huge cloud of smoke from the right side of the car at the eighth and then smoke all the way down the shutdown area. Clean-up called. On the re-start Colin Millar blew his Personal Bests into next week to take #1 spot, well done Colin! First half of an Outlaw Anglia
ET record to boot. In the other lane something came off Paul Hensher's car about 300 feet out but a great run for Paul so hopefully nothing essential.
19:35 Funny Bike qualifying session 3 Lorcan Parnell with new PB ET and speed, the first half of ACU ET and speed records, and #1 qualifier. Well done The Storm team!

Michel to sixty in 0.9922, Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy in 0.9744, a little shake for both but both drove through it, side-by-side threes at the eighth, Michel there in an impressive 3.9997/185.73 but Andy visibly ahead by then with a storming 3.8712/195.03. We will check the numbers but Andy is at least half way to an MSA Pro Mod ET record, well done Andy and team! Track record ET also and not far off the track speed record. 08:25 Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod for our coverage of the SPRC Summernationals brought to you in association with John Woolfe Racing. The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line broadcasting live video and commentary / Nitro FM feed so long as the track is open. As things stand we will kick off the webcast at about 09:15. Nitro FM are already streaming audio-only; a link is available on the Event Index. The above two paragraphs mask what has been a very stressful morning. First, the server on which this coverage resides was down. A long and painful exchange took place with Support who, even the company is based in Glasgow, had English as about their eighth language. It comes to something when the User is telling Support what they need to do. The web server sorted, the webcam PC started playing up, would not recognise the cameras and the network card appeared to have failed. If I say "Critical Windows update" and "Restore point" then you will understand how Your Reporter fixed that. So here we are, finally, all problems (so far) sorted. It is a nice day outside, sun and cloud, the cloud is already reducing, juts a gentle tailwind. The plan for today is for live reports and results, pit notes courtesy of Simon, and a photo gallery at the end of the day courtesy of Julian and DD. However, please note that as well as writing the live report and running the webcast Your Reporter is also commentating this weekend so the reports may be a little less detailed than usual.
