Thanks to MSA Championship PR Robin Jackson for letting us know that Andy Wright Jr is out for the weekend with a spun bearing.
Kev Slyfield needs to replace the fuel pump. Everyone else is OK but we are not seeing everyone in this session. Jean to sixty in 1,0605,
a couple of pedals then the motor picked up, motor coughed at the eighth with bright orange flames out of both banks 4.5797/158.59, another
pedal and back on it. Jean stranded on the shutdown area, Bobby and Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy held before staging and then shut off.
Jean towed off the top end moments later. Both restarted on the start line after a couple of minutes.
Bobby strapped a 0.0353 to 0.2602 holeshot on Andy, not that it matters in qualifying, Andy with the better sixty 0.9864 to 0.9951.
Andy drove through shake then the Camaro turned right at 330 feet, a pedal then back on it and to the eighth in 3.9576/186.25 to
Bobby's 4.0345/181.99. Oil foind in Andy's lane and clean-up called.

First run scheduled for a bye according to the official order. Jean fired up but then seemed to have problems
gettign forward gear. Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy held in the bleach box but then burned out as Jean came
around the corner. Jean back from his burnout very quickly so as not to keep Andy waiting. Andy left Jean
for dead at the Tree 0.0600 to 0.3851, 0.9832 to sixty to Jeran's 1.0053, Andy's Camaro moving slightly left but he
held on to it, 4.8980/194.46 at the eighth to Jean's 4.3800/168.37. Michel and Bobby shut off before staging
as Fire One headed for the top end and Jean's car was still visible stranded at the top end. Jean cleared Bobby took
the bye whilst Michel's car was pushed back for cooldown. Bobby to sixty in 1.0043, to the eighth in 4.0632/185.55,
Bobby's car really does show bracket-like reliability and the incrementals are edging down. Refuel for Michel before
re-run. 1.0166 to sixty, driving through slight shake past the Tree, then sounded to lose drive at 300 feet, engine
note shot up and Michel shut off.

1.0235 to sixty for Andy W, the acceptable level of shake past the Tree but then more serious shake about 200 feet out,
the car moved right, a pedal and back on it. 4.2839/165.92 at the eighth. Jean to sixty in 1.0361, Wayne in
1.4896 with motor screaming and quickly off the gas after that. Jean to the eighth in 4.4414/164.11.
Kev to sixty in 1.0245, Michel in 1.0263, some shake and a brief pedal for Michel, Kev's burst panel gave
way just before the eighth and chutes out 4.5844/109.30 at half track. Michel to the eighth in 4.0930/182.51 then a move right
and off the gas about 1000 feet out. Michel and Kev with chutes out into the strong headwind stuck on the shutdown area,
next pair signalled to pull burnouts whilst the top end crew rescued the cars. Bobby with very brief burnout didn't go as far
as the start line. Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy R back from burnout as both cars were being pushed off the top end, good call
by race officials. But then Andy shut off after returning having left a brake pad on the track. Bobby took the bye. 1.0307 to sixty,
gentle sway left and right, 4.0776/182.82 at the eighth, a bang right on the stripe but #1 qualifier.

Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the Mopar EuroNationals brought to you in association with
John Woolfe Racing.
The Webster Race
Engineering/Nimbus Motorsport
webcam will on-line at approximately 09:15 and will broadcast live video and commentary/trackside
audio so long as the track is open.
It deluged here late afternoon yesterday, cutting short the RWYB, we had more rain overnight but the track is
dry this morning. It is cloudy but blue sky is visible and and the cloud is scudding away. Right now the issue
is the headwind which is quite strong.
We have a birthday on the Eurodragster.com team today: a big Happy Birthday to our Pit Reporter Simon.
Simon has the day off today but will be here tomorrow to bring you pit notes. Have a great day Simon and
I hope the birthday card, although appropriate, didn't cause too much emberrassment.
A big Good Morning to the Finnish Mopar Association, some of whom we know are tuned in. I have been
asked to tell you "MoPar on PARSA!". A big Good Morning also to the Eurodragsterholics, especially Ivar
Kolberg in Norway and Kai Plathan and Otto in Finland, but thanks to all of the 'holics for your continued support.
Today we will be posting reports and results from MSA Pro Modified, Nostalgia Super Stock, and the
Gasser Circus. We had some Pro Mod test passes yesterday, we know that some of you like to know this stuff
so this is how the Pro Mod testing went:
Kev Slyfield 20.0590/42.33. Tyres up in smoke at the hit.
Andy Wright Jr 6.3473/227.00. To sixty in 1.0336 with a pedal, 4.1653/179.17 at the eighth, what I particularly noticed about this run was that it
was arrow-straight - one of the straightest Pro Mod runs I think I have ever seen.
Michel Tooren 9.8401/96.25. Edged out of pre-stage, hit the gas as the lights ran, hit shake 100 feet out, shut off.
Jean Dulamon 7.0507/209.04. To sixty in 1.0564, spitting flames from the exhausts and sounded to be misfiring, 4.6437/154.64 at the eighth.
Kev Slyfield burnout but no reverse, drove to the end of the track.
