Andy Robinson 6.1451/234.88 def. Marck Harteveld 6.1290/234.88

Visible 0.0760 to 0.2002 holeshot won this for Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy. Andy had the better sixty 0.9903 to Marck's 0.9962, Marck had shake from the Tree to about 150 feet but drove straight through it. Andy's Camaro edged right then made a move left towards the centre line at the eighth 4.0450/183.93 but stayed on the gas, 4.0265/183.47 for Marck. Andy to the stripe first in 0.1081.

0.0014 seconds or 3.39 inches in the race between Dave Billadeau and Tom Watkins who pulled a great 0.0081 RT.

The yellow duster stuffed into the breather pipe on the back of Andy's car went along for the ride this time. -0.0134 red for Bert gave it to Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy. 1.0018 to ixty for Andy, notably less shake this run, tyre marks all done by sixty. 4.1518/179.04 to the eighth.

Marck Harteveld 6.1121/234.07 def. Bobby Wallace 6.3251/218.03

Boby visibly moved first 0.1137 to 0.1376 and had the better sixty 1.0028 to Marck's 1.0062 then Marck had shake between the Tree and 100 feet. Bobby not obviously hit by shake but Marck was through it and had the better eighth 4.0097/184.97 to Bobby's 4.1043/175.39 and took the stripe by 0.1891. New PB ET for Marck, well done Marck and team!

-0.0014 red for Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco handed it to Bert who dodged a bullet. 1.2748 to sixty with bad shake passing the Tree, a violent move and off the throttle, idled through. His best time of the weekend for Marco.

Bobby Wallace 6.3485/217.20 def. Michel Tooren 6.2581/230.23

0.1618 to 0.2736 holeshot won this for Bobby. Bobby to sixty in 1.0016, Michel in 0.9859, Bobby with the better eighth 4.1077/175.61 to Michel's 4.1201/181.78, the Cuda fishtailing left and right but Michel was not getting off it for anything, very gutsy drive. 0.0214 win for Bobby.

Marck Harteveld 6.6557/175.06 def. Mick Payne 11.8506/70.62

Mick left first 0.2221 to 0.2525, Marck with the better sixty 1.0009 to 1.1244. Big shake for both, Mick tried to drive through it with his motor screaming and the Camaro turned right and he got off the gas. Shake for Marck to 150 feet, a pedal and the tyres bit. 4.2706/171.54 to the eighth, off the gas and chutes out at 1000 feet, Mick idling by that point.

#1 qualifier bye for Eurodragster.com sponsor Andy. Instant shake and loss of drive, idled along the track then gave it a couple of stabs towards the top end.

Test pass for Wayne Nicholson followed. Great run! 1.0047 to sixty, 4.2190/170.38 at the eighth, 6.4934/216.15 at the stripe, almost a PB for ET. Well done Wayne and team!

After eighty days' and nights' worth of rain overnight things are a lot better this morning. The sun is trying to peek through low cloud and I can see a large clear patch in the direction from which the weather is coming. it could be a little more mild given the date but the sun coming up a bit further should remedy that. The strip is being sledded and is squealing in an encouraging manner and the shutdown area does not look to be the source of major concern right now.

The traditional Raceday Hello and hugs to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is tuned in from Essex, NH in an apartment likely festooned with lists right now. Hope you are doing OK Kathy and we have our fingers crossed for Frankfurt. Good Morning also to the Eurodragsterholics, especially Kai Plathan and his faithful hound Otto tuned in from Vehkataipale, Finland and to Ivar Kolberg in Norway. Thanks to all of you for your support.

The plan today is to bring you reports and results in MSA Pro Modified and results in JT Construction UK Top Sportsman, the Gasser Circus and Nostalgia Super Stock. Martyn Hallam of the Gasser Circus relieved Eurodragster.com and Bad Habit Racing of £100 yesterday courtesy of a 0.0007 reaction time during Q2, congratulations again to him.

Racing is currently scheduled to commence at 09:30; stay tuned and as soon as the Pro Mod, UK Top Sportsman, Gasser Circus or Nostalgia Super Stock wheels start to turn we'll bring you the news.
