Roberth and an early shut off for Anders, 13.0996/58.12. Fellow SSB racer Rudi Zorsi was next, rode out a serious
wobble at the eighth, stayed with it, 7.9030/175.75.

at the stripe. John Przybyl followed in the Super Pro ET dragster, 0.0266 RT, car started to move around in the
second eighth and John shut it off aout 1000 feet out, 8.1315/122.14 at the stripe.
Eurodragster.com sponsor Urs Erbacher followed in
his Top Fuel Dragster, looks great in its new colours. Track radio says planned half pass, that and "Please
make sure it's a Pro Tree". That was a nice-looking run to begin with. 0.8950 to sixty, 2.3166 to 330 where
the tyres started to turn and smoke, Urs got off the gas and put out the chutes. 5.5211/111.95 at the thousand.
Sandro Bellio was next in Danny's Top Methanol FC. 1.0065 to sixty then the tyres started to shake the the
FC drifted left. Crossed the centre line but Sandro pulled it back but before hitting the eighth-mile reflectors.
Penultimate run of the day Stefan Ernryd in his Pro Stock, left lane this time. 0.9751 to sixty, motor
really screaming. The car headed left but Stefan stayed with it. 4.3698/147.65 at the eighth, off the pedal
at that point. 7.1342/160.76 at the stripe.
Magnus Pettersson closed the day in his Pro Stock. 0.9934 to sixty, nice-looking run but then the car
started fishtailing towards the eighth and Magnus shut it off and put the chutes out. 7.8103/113.91.
That's it for today but stay tuned as we are now going to work on today's gallery. Give it an hour or so
and we should have that for you.
17:20
Third run of the day for Michael Malmgren in his Pro Stock. Relatively short burnout. 0.9735 to
sixty, through a few gears then off it before the eighth. 7.9734/124.26 at the stripe.
First run of the season for Micke Kågered in his Top Fuel Dragster. Very short burnout,
then before staging the motor started popping and banging, a number of the crew stepped back at that
point. Motor was shut off before staging... it really did not want to shut off though, took an age
and the persuasion of a few crew members. Micke towed back to the pits.
Next up David Vegter in his Pro Mod. Burnout was heading left all the way, nearly sullied the new
just past the start line. 1.0560 to sixty, off it about 200 feet out, 9.7199/82.87.
Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco Maurischat was next in his Pro Mod. 1.0410 to sixty, shut off about 300 feet out,
8.3189/112.23.
The Pro Mods continued with Fast Freddy. 250-foot burnout again drew cheers and applause from the
audience and the usual fast back-up ensued. 1.0725 to sixty, looked very smooth, shut off and chutes out
at the eighth. 9.4962/6762 at the stripe.
Sara Unsworth and Jon Turner matched up in their Modurstang Pro ET Mustang and Super Gas Cuda respectively.
9.8979/135.27 for Jon and 11.7493/113.46 for Sara. Next up Pro ET racer Mark Bailey and Topspeed Automotive
Street Eliminator racer Martin Smith. Big wheelie and hesitation for Mark, shut off early, 811.5798/87.02.
8.1366/171.05 for Martin, looks like slight increase in the length of the wick each time.
Simon Gough next up in the Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET Camaro. 0.0161 RT, 8.6305/159.10 at the stripe.
Tony Morris followed in the PMR Monza, 9.204/146.23, I'd say he has the hang of this Super Gas lark.
16:55
Next run for Daniel Giles in the Giles and Hartley Gearhead Garage Super Pro ET dragster 0.0201 RT and 7.4889/175.74
at the stripe.
First run of the day, and the season, for Dennis Habermann in the second Mistuboshi-sponsored Top Methanol Dragster.
Rolled the beams, 1.3636 to sixty and off the gas for bad shake, 8.9158/100.39.
Interesting match-up next, Leah Kellett in the Drummin' Man Super Comp dragster against Jon Giles in the Roar Willys
which I am guessing is set for Super Comp. Jon left before the lights ran so it's academic. Nice 8.9516/160.231 for Leah.
Next pair Yannick Richard on his 8.50 Bike agaist Robert Nilsson on his Super Street Bike. 14.6811/53.90 for Yannick
and 7.6260/16.16 for Robert despite an early shut-off. Dale Leeks next with a troubled-sounding 8.3811/129.16 on the
Funny Bike, on and off the throttle all the way down. Bianca Nilsson and Jemma Venables next on their Super Street Bikes,
both backed off early, Jem as the bike went for the centre line. 11.8587/86.84 for Bianca and 11.3742/73.36 for Jem.
Super Street Bike v Pro Stock Bike next, Eddy Smiley v Keneth Holmberg. 7.7202/185.89 for Eddy on and off
the throttle in the second half, 16.0895/45.75 for Kenneth as the bike did not shift out of first gear.
Mark Hoep and Alex Hope matched up on their Super Street Bikes, 9.4294/97.14 for Mark and a very early shut off 13.1536/79.26 for
Alex.
In the lanes we have Pro ET, Street Eliminator, Pro Stock and Top Fuel.
16:35
Next round was meant to be Bruno Bader's Pro Mod but he shut off before leaving the lanes. He was then
towed back to the pits.
Williams Brothers Racing team-mates James Oliver and Colin Theobald matched up, Colin got the jump 0.1291 to 0.1877 but James was there
first 10.4888/130.14 to Colin's 11.5294/115.91.
Jon Turner next out of the lanes in the Greenfish Cuda. Practicing for the Al's Gasser Super Gas Shootout
I am guessing, 9.8841/136.94. Another bang off the line for Ryan Parkin in the Darkside Developments diesel-powered
car, shut off and pulled over at half track.
16:30
Quick sled of the track and then Yannick Richard and Rudi Zorsi back on their 8.50 Bike and Super Street Bike respectively,
9.4511/153.10 for Yannick and 7.9269/186.50 for Rudi.
Simon Gough next out of the pairing lanes with his Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET Camaro. RT we won't mention,
8.6823/158.46 at the top end. Left lane this time for Eurodragster.com sponsor Pete Walters in the Gold RV
Super Pro ET rail. 1.0179 to sixty, shut off about 300 feet out, 11.7303/62.38 at the stripe.
First run for Pro Mod racer Marck Harteveld followed. That new car of his looks stunning. 1.0930 to sixty, drove
through mild shake, shut off about 200 feet out then shut the motor off altogether in the second eighth, 10.5040/82.29.
Bengt Ljungdahl next round the corner in his Pro Stock. 0.9718 to sixty, motor screaming its way through gear
shifts, then the car drifted left and crossed the centre line. Just missed the eighth mile reflectors as Bengt
wrenched it back, 9.4580/79.68 shut off before the eighth.
great 9.9042/156.85 for Stu Dognie in the Super Gas Vauxhall.
Half pass for Mark Hope on his Super Street Bike, 1.4348 to sixty and 10.5692/81.13 at the stripe.
Dave Thomas and Mathias Bohlin side by side on their SSBs, 7.9348/177.84 for Dave. 1.2301 to sixty for
Matias and 7.3462/196.21 at the quarter. Alec Hope with an 11.6384/88.37 checkout pass on his Super Street Bike.
Great to see Guido Uhlir here with his new Comp Eliminator Manta, tha car looks stunning. 1.2739 to sixty, shut
off and chute out at the eighth, 10.8231/67.65 at the stripe.
Dsve Day and Tony Morris next around the corner, Tony will certainly be in Super Gas trim in the PMR
Monza, let's see about Dave. Great 9.8753/146.77 for Tony, whichever trim Dave was in he shut it off early
to a 10.9392/101.97.
Andy Bond followed in his Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator Chevy, another gentle pass at 10.2970/100.29.

stripe.

Lucas Oil Junior Dragsters. 0.0128 RT for Thomas, 7.9125/81.22 and 7.9027/82.41 for Aaron.
Next up Sandro Bellio in Danny's Top Methanol FC. Another last-photographer burnout and again our own
Julian was the last photographer. 1.0332 to sixty, motor sounded to drag down towards eighth 4.1446/168.43,
Sandro was off the gas and had the chutes out past the eighth.
Tim Garlick followed in the Apache Nostalgia FC. Great burnout and again very smokey and gassy in our office.
1.0359 to sixty, 4.0387/171.61 atthe eighth starting to drift right and got a bit of a wiggle on in the second eighth,
close to the rail, off the gas and chutes out, 7.0552/125.25.
Leah Kellett followed in the Drummin' Man dragster set for Super Comp. 0.0571 Rt and a great 8.9144/162.51
at the stripe. Nigel Hale and Martin Smith next for Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator, 8.6277/160.77 for Martin with
a tryre shreech about 400 feet out, 13.6413/117.33 for Nigel visibly and audibly taking it easy. Andy Harrison
followed in the Sierra, set for Super Street or Al's Gasser Super Gas Shootout? Super Gas but sounded to shut off
a touch early, 10.1249/132.45.
On to two wheels and Eddy Smiley and Robert Nilsson matched up on their Super Street Bikes, 7.9216/182.14 for
Eddy and 7.4333/198.75 for Robert. Second run of the day for fellow SSB racer Anders Blanck, 1.2539 to sixty and 7.7520/180.65

to sixty and 7.8182/175.07 at the quarter. Yannick Richard and Rudi Zorsi next on their 8.50 Bike and Super Street Bike
respectively but shut off for track inspection at the top end.
15:45
First Pro Stock Bike outing for Tonnie van den Berg. Not happy with something and shut off before staging, some
gesturing afterwards but not clear what Tonnie was indicating.
Thomas Pettersson next up on his Funny Bike (TFB this weekend). 1.1954 to sixty, two gears and off the gas, 9.7821/80.24
atthe stripe. Jemma Venables followed on her Super Street Bike, 1.3826 to sixty, tyre was screechign toewards the eighth

drifted towards the centre line but pulled it back. 10.2329/163.14.
Again a loss of fire after the burnout for Sara Unsworth's Modurstang Pro ET Mustang. Re-fired then 0.0201 RT and 12.4407/114.06
at the top end.
Next around the corner Rob Smallworth in his Comp Eliminator Chevy. 1.1673 to sixty, some shake and the Chevy moved
to the left and Rob shut it off. 10.9868/82.72.
15:35
Jon Giles back in Super Gas trim, no little surprises this time, pretty straight run with just a little
weaving at the top end, 9.8853/148.63. Dave Day next in his roadster, Super Comp trim and a nice straight 8.8466/155.78.
Next round the corner was Daniel Giles in the GearheadGarage UK Super Pro ET dragster. Tyres didn't light on the
burnout, would it hurt? Possibly not in the hot conditions. Tiny bit of shake and 7.5102/176.32 at the quarter.
Dave Thomas and Yannick Richard faced off on their Super Street Bike and 8.50 Bike respectively. 9.3630/152.59 for
Yannick. Dave's motor stopped at the hit and he was pushed back.
Michael Malmgren next up in his Pro Stock. You may recall many years ago that, following the US trend, Michael's
crew guy Magnus would stand as close as possible to the burnout track as Michael came past. That is now of course
outlawed but we have a new trick, standing in front of the car as it rolls to a halt after the burnout and stepping
out of the way at the last moment. I am not sure how long that practice will last, Ian certainly had a good long look.
1.0006 to sixty for Michael, no shake to speak of, went three gears and shut it off, 8.3452/104.98 at the stripe.
Robin Orthdoxou followed in his Chevy-powered (that's Chevy, Chris) Comp Eliminator altered. Edged forward as the
Tree ran but not enough to trigger the clocks. Nice opener, 1.2057 to sixty and 7.3376/186.53 at the stripe. James
Oliver next in the new Modurstang Pro ET Firebird, 10.2525/132.09.
Second run of the day for Magnus Pettersson's Pro Stock. 0.9917 to sixty, 4.3426/156.16 at the eighth, off the
gas and chutes out, 7.4938/125.26 at the stripe.
Dave Thomas back for another go on his Super Street Bike, tyre screeched off the line but still we beliece a
new PB and his first seven, 7.9653/177.83. Well done Dave and team!
15:20
A quick scrape of the right lane then Al's Gasser Super Gas Shootout racers Tony Morris and Stu Doignie matched
up. 9.9380/155.80 for Stu, Tony backed off early and clocked 11.6104/76.55. Mick Howling and Leah Kellett matched
up, nominally a Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET v Super Comp face-off. 8.5865/144.75 for Mick and 8.8725/162.89 for
Leah.
Next up first run of the season for Timo Habermann in his Top Methanol Dragster. The car looks just great in the
colours of new sponsor Mistuboshi who manufature blower belts. 0.9383 to sixty, started to shake about 200 feet out,
to the eighth in 3.6364/207.01, shut off and one chute out but still 5.9838/160.73 at the stripe.
Eurodragster.com sponsor Marco Maurischat followed
in his Pro Mod. 1.3807 to sixty, looked quicker than that. Went a couple of gears and shut it off. 8.3283/119.52 at the
stripe.

8.0254/80.07 at the eighth.
Next up Martin Smith in the Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator Bentley. Burnout fogged the start line
for a short while. Put in the power gradually but tyres screeched about 400 feet out and backed off, 10.5089/103.50.
John Przybyl next in the Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET dragster. Great opener, 7.5661/177.06.
First run of the season for Martin Bishop on his Pro Stock Bike. Long burnout but not much in the way of tyre
smoke. Nice baseline pass, 1.1315 to sixty, 7.5450/177.85.
Stefan Ernryd next in his Pro Stock. The car looks just great in the colours of new sponsor Dico.
Prolonged wheelie bar adjustment before staging. 0.9972 to sixty, shut off just befre the eighth 4.4840/134.45.
8.1235/113.64 at the stripe.
Next up the first ever pass for Eurodragster.com sponsor Pete Walters
in the Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET dragster owned by fellow Eurodragster.com sponsor
Derek Flynn. Footbrake launch, 1.0205 to sixty, dragster
started fishtailing gently and Pete shut it off before the eighth 4.8541/111.10. To the stripe in 9.6642/81.67.
Fast Freddy next round the corner in his pick-up, currently sporting a blown-alcohol motor. 250-foot burnout
to cheers and applause from the spectators. 1.1214 and a valiant attempt to drive through shake, a pedal,
the right side door came open and Freddy backed off and put a chute out. 10.0104/75.28 at the stripe.
14:40
Next around the corner Comp Eliminator racer Rob Smallworth. 1.1370 to sixty, the Chevy started to head
for the guardrail and Rob shut it off. 11,3851/74.17 at the stripe.
Modurstang Pro ET racer Mark Bailey followed. Wheelie and a pedal, then another pedal, ultimately shut off early
11.3194/97.55.
Leah Kellett's turn in the Drummin' Man rail now set for Super Comp. In the other lane Al's Gasser Super Gas Shootout
racer Andy Harrison. 8.7605/161.2 for Leah and 10.8576/143.39 for Andy, Super Street setting in Andy's Sierra I am guessing.
First run of the day for Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET racer Simon Gough. Nice baseline run, 8.6851/157.91
Tom Barnes back again in the Super Gas Mini, tyres blackstriped, pedalled and then picked up. 10.9631/136.86.
Something departed the car in the shutdown area. Quick track check and all OK.
Alex Hope had pulled his burnout on his 'old' Pro Stock Bike and hung on whilst the track was checked, then a
great opener 7.5891/177.81. Kenneth Holmberg followed on his Pro Stock Bike, great opener for Kenneth at 7.4669/178.51.
Yannick Richard in his 8.50 Bike up against Robert Nilsson on his Super Street Bike. 1.3374 to sixty for Robert
and 7.3787/198.89 at the stripe, tyre spin for Yannick but recovered and clocked 9.7231/136.86. Mathias Bohlin

was next to run, 1.3342 to sixty and 7.8066/179.21 at the top end.
A veritable cornucopia of Super Street Bikes as next round the corner was Bianca Nilsson, now riding Arvid Gerdtsson's
bike. Great to see this confirmation that Bianca is OK. Motor stopped off
the line but restarted and put in a checkout pass, 18.7297/131.40. Daniel Donat Lencses followed, 1.2589 to sixty
and a great 7.2292/193.69 at the top end. First run of the day for Anders Blanck on his SSB, shut off about 200 feet
out, 14.8447/48.43.
14:25
First run of the day for Wayne Nicholson's Pro Mod after successful testing here at Santa Pod last weekend.
Wayward burnout but Wayne kept a hold on it, he's had worse. 1.056 to sixty, 6.7328/209.13 at the stripe,
looked like a baseline pass. The Vette was swaying very gently all the way but nothing serious.
Next out of the lanes was Bruno Bader in his Pro Mod, first run of the year I am guessing. Instant
shake then smoke, off the gas then gently through, 9.4508/111.13.
First run of the day for Rene van den Berg on his Top Fuel Bike. Great burnout then fantastic run! 1.0999 to
sixty, 4.2798/182.82 to the eighth, close to the centre line but stayed with it, 6.3750/227.93 at the stripe.
14:00

befits Eurodragster.com sponsor OCS Paint. Great run, 10.3589/131.40, looked effortless.

shut-off for the Bentley, 11.5960/114.06 for Sarah in the Mustang.

in the second half, Mick feathered it bus had a good hold of the car 8.5871/151.11. Stu Doignie next in the Super Gas
Vauxhall, 0.0721 RT and 9.8744/156.30 at the stripe. Dave Day next in the Double Trouble roadster, shut it off

and tried to pull it back but ultimately hit the 594 foot reflector.
13:50
Next round the corner a Modurstang Pro ET match-up, Sara Unsworth and James Forster. Sarah lost fire after the burnout,
a couple of goes to restart. Lost fire again before staging, in the meantime James took the bye, 11.8587/116.22 whilst
Sarah was pushed back.
First run of the day for Michael Malmgren in his Pro Stock. Great to see Michael's gesturing burnout guide is still with us.
A lot of measuring and wheelie bar adjustment before staging. 1.0048 to sixty, straight and trouble-free launch, went a
couple of gears then shut off. 9.5896/91.96 at the stripe. Next round the corner Bengt Ljungdahl, complete with Lidl shopping
basket. Great run! 0.9920 to sixty, car squatted down and went, 4.2922/164.11 at the eighth, shut off a touch early but

Daniel Giles next round the corner in the Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET dragster. 0.0601 RT, 7.4660/177.08
at the stripe, I am guessing 7.46 dial-ins tomorrow.
Sandro Bellio next up in Danny's Top Methanol FC. Great burnout, long too, if I didn't know better I'd
say he used our photog Julian as a marker to get off the gas as the tyre marks stop right opposite Julian.
0.9926 to sixty, 4.1649/13.18 at the eighth off the gas with chutes out at that point. 8.7183/72.08 at the
stripe. Crew looked happy as did Chief Starter Ian Marshall who is the one signing the licence.

Tom Barnes next round the corner, much better run for the Mini, 10.8407/124.42. Nigel Hale and Colin Theobald next up,
Colin with a passenger I am guessing. Nigel's burnout sounded misfire-y and he shut off. Colin took the bye 11.9305/111.36.
Nigel then restarted and put in a pass, gentle launch and throttle not fully open all the way, bedding in parts after recent
repairs I'd imagine. Shut off at about 1000 feet, 13.1266/87.54.
Now on lunch break, stay tuned.
12:50
Joe Kellett is certainly getting his money's worth in the Drummin' Man Gearhead Garage UK Super Pro ET
dragster. Sounded like a throttle stop in on that run, testing for Super Comp I guess, 8.7038/164.26.
Next up Jon Giles in the Roar Willys. 1.4738 to sixty then the car took a right step approaching the eighth.
Shut off, 11.4878/87.20.

and again in the second half but still 7.8954/182.83. Rudi Zorsi next on his SSB, 1.3697 to sixty 7.8558/186.62.

Next up a passenger ride for Colin Theobald in Bruce, no name on the back window but whoever it was they
were gesturing excitedly on the way round from the pairing lanes. Nice run, 11.7518/113.59. First run of
the day for Stu Doignie in the Vauxhall, in the other lane Dave Day in the Double Trouble roadster. The
question being, Super Comp or Super Gas? Super Comp for Dave I think, 9.6310/132.88, and Super Gas for
Stu, 9.9645/155.85.
Next Pro of the day, Pro Stock again, recent Eurodragster.com News contributor Stefan Ernryd.
Short burnout. 0.9847 to sixty, through a few gears then off it at about 330 feet 2.8373. 9.0124/94.66 at
the stripe.

Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for our coverage of the Pro Peak Performance Test and Tune Day brought to you in association with
John Woolfe Racing.
The Webster Race
Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line
broadcasting live video and commentary / trackside audio mix so long as the track is open. Thanks to Maikel and our friends
at Doyousee.me for streaming services.
It's a lovely day here at Santa Pod, sun and a small amount of high cloud. The track crew arealready out there, the timing
crew are already out there, and we are pretty much set, just the BurnoutCam to mount. Courtesy of DJ of Santa Pod we know that
we have a sizeable list of racers both Pro and Sportsman wishing to test today. Old hands at Peak Performance Days will recall
that there is quite often a game of "I am not going first" amongst Pro racers at these events, the most extreme example being
some years back when the first Pro racer on track emerged after the lunch break.
A big Good Morning, Hej, Terrve etc to all of the Eurodragsterholics, especially Kai Plathan and Otto tuned in from Finland
and our faithful coverage fan Ivar Kolberg who is tuned in from Norway. A big wave also to our good friend Bob Roberts of our
sponsor Andy Robinson's Pro Modified team. Unfortunately
Bob won't be here this weekend as he is carrying an injury. Best wishes for rapid healing Bob and our weekend is going to be
the poorer for your absence.
OK so we have the webcast, but we know that some of you are not only stuck in the office but also stuck in the office with
internet access which forbids live streaming, so just for you we will be posting live reports today. That is how good a friend
we are to you. You know how it goes... keep hitting Refresh! Whatever you do, though, don't get in trouble with your
boss, apart from Tobbe who never seems to have that problem.
Start times are a bit fluid at these test days but 09:30 is the target I believe. Keep an eye on this page and keep an eye
on the webcam and it will all spring into life as soon as we get close to commencing.
