Similar story for Karl-heinz Kleider, no reverse but stopped on the track about 500 feet out. With Karl-Heinz' car in a potentially vulnerable location Eurodragster.com sponsor Pete Walters staged for the round win. A quick stop to deal with weepers at the top end. Great 0.0072 RT by Marius Blackburn in his first race in the S&K Racing dragster, close to the Eurodragster.com / Bad habit Racing Perfect Light Award, then Chris Parker's win margin was 0.0079 seconds or 19.06 inches. Our coverage will consist of the usual real-time reports and stats on eliminations, pit notes updated through the day, and a photo gallery at the end of the day. Your Reporter is also commentating today so the reports may not be quite as wordy as usual, although they will probably still read as if that bloke from The Good Old Days is writing them. The Webster Race Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be on-line so long as the track is open each day. Thanks to Doyousee.me for the provision of streaming services. There will be no BurnoutCam this weekend due to a fractured fibre optic cable but it will be back at Dragstalgia. Today we are trialling a new feature on the webcast; a Nitro FM StudioCam. It is primarily intended for use during downtime but because there isn't going to be any downtime today we have switched it on before the start of racing to give you a look. You can send feedback either to us or to Nitro FM. We had rain overnight but the racing surface is already dry and the track crew are working on the shutdown area.
