This year's event, organised again by Andy Wheeler, was held with charity Harry's Rainbow which supports bereaved children through activities such as day trips and holidays. The charity was founded in 2011 by Lee and Odette Mould in memory of their five year old son Harry who was twin to Jessica.


Billy Everitt, in second place in the Lucas Oils Junior Dragster Championship, is planning on making licensing passes in the Alien altered, and the team are waiting for a replacement fuel pump to enable him to start.


Competition was divided into two separate eliminations, the first by class and then one-shot qualifying and all run for dragsters. The bikes on hand ran two eliminations. Here in the Junior Stock dragster final, Luke Mugridge (near lane) was winner and Liam MacDonald (far lane) runner up.


The Junior Modified dragster final was won by Kaitlin Deevey (far lane) and Skye Collier (near lane) was runner up.


The Junior Modified Advanced eliminator was won by current championship leader Ruaridh Hart (near lane) over runner up Billy Everitt (far lane).


The Bloodhound SST was on display and the car looks complete, the team still fundraising for a record attempt.


British Drag Racing Hall of Fame Chairman Stu Bradbury was looking after the Santa Pod lineup including the display TF dragster, Funny Car and Supertwin bike.


Jet car racer Martin Hill wowed the crowds with a 5.903/266 pass, crewed by John Hackney and Dave Warren.


Super Twin Top Gas racer Scott Collier did two test passes resulting in 9.68/133.35 and 9.666/133.34 times. He will return to competition at the National Finals. The Colliers have acquired the Funny Bike of Steve French, who is Scott's godfather, and he will be racing it in Comp Bike in 2017


Junior Drag Bike racer Jasmine Cordelle (pictured) was the winner of the bike elimination held in the morning with Charlotte Hales runner-up.


Twice Junior Dragbike champion Louis Davies is leading the 2016 Championship with two rounds to go.


It's difficult to miss the transporter of Kaitlan Deevey which her sponsor Signster have made highly visible.


Dave Holland and Joe Holland-Villa are taking a look at the car they have just sold to Harry Redshaw.


John Everitt, Bradley Head and Billy Everitt were the focus of a great deal of interest from the crowds.


Junior Modified Advanced racer Billy Ringer has named his car 'Ghost Hunter'. He is in fourth place currently in the National championship.


Junior Modified Advanced racer Ruaridh Hart was winner at Big Bang and runner up at the Main Event which puts him in the lead by a margin of 250 points over Billy Everitt.


Tyler Ashdown's new dragster has an impressive wrap by Peter Walters. Dad Steve Ashdown drove it for its initial pass but there were head gasket problems and water was coming through the studs. Steve said 'Tyler will be the youngest Super Comp driver in Europe at the age of 16, we hope to license at VW Action or the Pro Test day and run it at the Euro Finals'. Steve will have a busy weekend as he will be driving Rune Fjeld-owned Top Fuel Dragster in the eight car field. Crew help is from Dave Bateman, and Paul Marston and Dave Gibbons were also helping to strip and rebuild the engine.


Charlotte Bradford was 2015 Junior Dragster champion and runs with support from Przym Paintwork.


Thaliah Gibb had a brilliant recovery when after rolling her car in the shut-down area at Shakespeare County Raceway on Saturday, had the car re-scrutineered and passed fit for racing. You can read Thaliah's account of her weekend in the latest Eurodragster.com news update.


Liam MacDonald flew over from Dublin to take part, using a Santa Pod rental dragster. Although Liam does not race at every round, he won the Summer Nationals over a large field and clearly has the sport in his bloodstream.


Third generation racer Luke Mugridge is in Junior Stock and has been racing all rounds this season.


Junior Stock racer Scott Gibbons was making an out in the Rough Diamond VI, painted in the same colours as Dave Gibbons' altered.

Lee Dennick's 'Reign of Fire' mini Jet Funny Car made two passes. Based on a GBC Mini Pro Funny Car chassis, it is powered by a Rolls Royce engine producing up to 2000hp. Runs were in the 11s at 130mph, with more to come with the wick turned up.
