Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the Mopar EuroNationals brought to you in association with John
Woolfe Racing.
The Webster Race
Engineering / Nimbus Motorsport webcam will be online broadcasting
live video and commentary / Nitro FM audio so long as the track is open. Today the track is scheduled to open at 09:30 so the webcam
will go on at about 09:25.
The traditional raceday greeting to our US Correspondent Kathy Hileman who is still in foreign climes on one of those "If it's Sunday,
this must be..." tours and who is sending us very entertaining travelogues. Hope you are having fun Kathy. Good morning also to the
Eurodragsterholics including Ivar Kolberg tuned in from Norway. Hope all is OK with you Ivar.
If you are old enough to remember the BBC TV quiz programme Ask The Family you will remember that it would quite often
feature a round where the contestants had to identify an unusual noise. There would be a lot of scratching sounds and after increasingly
desperate suggestions it always used to turn out to be a blowfly picking its nose or something like that. Well, at 01:18 this morning I discovered
that even at the age of fifty one, despite never having heard it before, I could correctly identify the sound of "Idiot driving car through
caravan". Said caravan was not the one in which I stay; it was occupied and I understand that the occupants are in hospital. I look forward to never
seeing the perpetrator at Santa Pod again and gain some comfort from the fact that if I am wrong about life after death then when his time
comes he will be joining Bob Crow in Hell.
The plan for today is to bring you results and reports on MSA Pro Modified and Comanche Race Cars / JS Secure Security Solutions UK Top Sportsman.
You can find qualifying and elimination results for both on yesterday's race report. Alas no pit notes today as Simon is unable to join us but
you can check out yesterday's pit notes via the Event Index. Also be sure to check our Kirstie's gallery from yesterday.
Stay tuned and as soon as the wheels start to turn we will bring you the news.
