Second year UEM Supertwin rider Jan Sturla Hegre experienced a first yesterday when leaning outside the windscreen at 1000
feet the headwind turned his helmet on his head. On the plus side he said the wind made correcting the bike easier.
Pro mod driver Bruno Bader was very pleased to be qualified number 1 after 2 sessions with a 6.11, given the adversity he faced before
the run. A front tire blowout in France caused considerable damage to his transporter and an injured crewman was taken to the hospital
before making a run down the track.

�No limits for Racing pleasure� The enthusiastic owner and crew are back after a long lay-off were pleased with yesterday�s
5.77 run and hoping for more today.
Laurie Bamford Crew chief for Jari Halinen said the crew had to change engines over night as a broken lifter caused considerable
damage during Saturday�s 5.56 run. Clutch specialist Paul Spaxman pointed out the clutch performed perfectly, with some disagreement
from the crew. Laurie said the recent addition of Stage 5 cylinder heads, a set back blower and larger fuel pump will require some
adjustments.
Christian Jager was extremely pleased with his 6.64 ET in only the third meeting since his switch to Super Twin. He felt there may be
even more power available for later runs today.
