Race Director Darren Prentice has just called a halt for today after repeated blizzards. The track crew have not stopped all day, but even if the snow stopped coming right now then it would take a couple of hours to get the track dry and then the temperature would be too low for safe racing.

Simon is working on some pit notes and Roger is pulling out some more pictures from yesterday so stay tuned, we're not finished here yet.

Since we were last here we've had two instances of almost-dry track and then a blizzard. The track crew are out yet again, these guys never give up.

You've probably also noticed that the webcam has been up and down like the proverbial drawers, we have been dealing with a software problem and solved that but would you believe that we now have a hardware problem!

Stay tuned and as soon as there is anything to tell you we'll be back. Keep an eye on the Pit Notes page too as Simon is working on a tranche from this morning.

Good morning and welcome again from Santa Pod Raceway. It's day two of the Auto Trader Easter Thunderball and we're here to bring you all the news in association with American Car Imports.

The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and will be broadcasting a picture every sixty seconds until the track closes on Monday. You can reach the webcam via the Event Index.

You probably won't be surprised to hear that the weather is not ideal right now. The snow was blowing horizontally across the track a little while ago, but at least that has calmed down now and it's just snowing instead of blizzarding. There is a strong crosswind again and trackside conditions are 2.5 C and 85% humidity, air pressure is 985 mB.

We're going to have some breakfast, stay tuned and when things improve then we'll be back with the news.
