Steve Nash backed up his earlier 7.8408 for a Street Eliminator ET record, well done Splinter! Also the Street Eliminator final was the quickest side-by-side Street Eliminator race and also of course the first side-by-side sevens in Street Eliminator.

Neil Midgley's 6.7351 in the Funny Bike final is a new Funny Bike ET record backed up by his earlier 6.6262, well done Midgo! Congratulations too to Chris Mott for a new Supertwin Top Gas speed record of 145.14 mph backed up by just about every other run he's made this weekend.

Pete Creswell collects a £100 bonus from Eurodragster.com and LA Racing Parts for an event win after taking the Perfect ET Award.

This Junior Dragster final was Nick Mugridge's final run in Junior Dragster. The car has been sold to Rosie Hunt and Nick will be crewing for dad Tim in Super Modified next season. Nine event wins and two Championships, well done Nick!

The briefest of burnouts for Grumpy. On the green Steve was off and running, lots of unburnt fuel from the headers of Grumpy's dragster, a new Personal Best for Steve and the event win, well done Steve! Dave Wilson won the 2007 UK National Top Methanol Championship by three points.

Bert away first 0.0630 to 0.1709, Andy had the better sixty foot time 1.0460 to Bert's 1.0769, Bert hit shake, the Coupe made a move and he shut off, Andy took the stripe by 4.7680.

Rene Van Den Berg was shut off for a fluid leak before staging so Steve took the bye. The Purple Princess started to fishtail at about 200 feet so Steve feathered the throttle, got it straight, and got back on it.

It's currently sunny with 9.3 degrees centigrade, 83% humidity and 1009mb of air pressure Today we have the remainder of the second cycle of qualifying and eliminations at the National Finals and we're here to bring you all the news in association with American Car Imports. The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and is broadcasting a picture every two minutes.

Apologies to those who sat up all night waiting for the photo gallery. With the 8:30pm finish, we had not eaten by 10:30pm and your news editor was up until 1:30am coding the gallery. The pictures are now in place.
