The rain isn't going anywhere save onto the track so Race Director Darren Prentice has called a halt to the event. We won't be able to give you any pictures today for obvious reasons; Simon is however out in the pits and will doubtless have some notes for you, so stay tuned. 7:45 Good morning and welcome from Santa Pod Raceway for day four of the FIA Main Event and day three of the 2007 FIA and FIM/UEM European Championships. We're here to bring you all the news in association with American Car Imports. The Webster Race Engineering/MPM Oil webcam is on-line and will be broadcasting a picture every sixty seconds twenty four hours a day until the track closes today. First things first, the power was restored to the router a short while ago so we have posted the picture gallery which was due to be uploaded after qualifying was called yesterday. Of course not a wheel turned yesterday so Roger explored the memory card on his camera and found some more pictures for you from Friday and Saturday. Hope you enjoy those. Next up is the traditional Raceday greeting to our US correspondents Ed O'Connell and Kathy Hileman who are tuned in from Rye, NH. Good morning and hope that you are having a good day guys. The weather got really vicous yesterday, not only did it rain all day but a very strong wind came up and it was this which parted the cable to the media centre and dropped the router. This morning it's still very breezy and cold and there's rain in the air although it is no longer throwing it down so that's grounds for optimism. Trackside conditions right now are 41.4 F and 98% humidity, 29.23 inches of air and rising. The weather station 12-24 hour prediction is for cloudless skies. Stay tuned and we'll bring you the news as it develops. Reports and pictures ©Eurodragster.com |
