Saturday (qualifying)

	Dave Beck and Len Paget took #1 and #2 spots in Pro Stock Bike in this match-up.		Tanya Partridge returned to the track with a repainted Inzane Racing Sportsman ET Camaro.
	Collin Morrice got back into a Junior Dragster, this one belonging to Jay Hauser, and faced off against Anna Stanley who drives the ex-Morrice Boys car.		Tim Blakemore looked good in the first half of the track before shutting off his Funny Bike.
	Tony Betts' Venom altered disappeared into a cloud of smoke at the top end during NFAA qualifying.		Rob Turner is the only Top Methanol qualifier at time of writing.
	Dan Page returned with a rebuilt engine in the family Firebird and made the step up from Sportsman ET to Pro ET competition.		Steve Carey is #2 in Top Fuel Bike at time of writing which does his Championship hopes no harm.
	Crewhief Mick Coombs is driving the Super Mod Scorpio normally campaigned by Andy Hone.		Colin Lazenby returned to Street Eliminator competition after a torrid season and had the big Chevy launching harder than ever.
	Once the sole preserve of small RD-style engines, Supertwin Gas now sees pairings such as the Harleys of Chris Mott and Chris Stebbings.		Bev Riley took a bye in Supertwin Street qualifying and is in third place.
	Mark Fairhurst is the last Super Comp racer on the right side of 8.90.		We promise we haven't Photoshopped this. It really is Mat Finney's VW Alternate Engine Camper pulling the wheels up.
	Ant Harris is making his Wild Bunch MSA competition début after a couple of non-permit events.		Ritchi Smith is another returnee with this very tidy Super Gas Ventora.
	Adam Gleadow made his first observed run in the Time Machine Super Pro ET altered.		Nicky Frost returned to Pro ET competition after damaging the transmission on her first run at the European Finals.
	The exhausts of the Chaos Fuel Altered were flaming like a good one as John Wright staged then at the hit a cylinder went out.		Andy Chilton is eighth in Super Mod qualifying with an 8.5-second Personal Best.
	Steve Pateman's Street Eliminator Calibra really took off about thirty feet out and netted an 8.160 for the top spot		Duncan Hocking's historic Weslake is fourth in Supertwin Fuel qualifying at time of writing.
	Dave Cherrett launched harder than usual in the first Super Street qualifier. Despite lifting very early he still broke out by nearly three tenths.		Robin Reeves made an observed half-pass in his very tidy Escort during Super Street session one.
	Abi Tether was +0.387 on her dial-in for fifth place after the first VW Sportsman session.		David Warren is back on the Krazy Kat Super Street Bike this weekend.
	New girl Rosie Hunt's Junior Dragster is immaculately turned out.		This 9.50 Bike racer whose leathers read "Mike" doesn't appear on either the entry list or the timing computer.
	Hairy John looks like he has got lost during his burnout for Street Eliminator qualifying. No problems on the run, as he ran his first ever nine.		Stuart Crane held fourth place after session one of Comp Bike.
	The second round of Pro ET qualifying started under very threatening skies...		...and we only managed to run a few pairs before a wall of rain marched its way down the track!
