Anthony Wilkins made off with the Eurodragster.com / LA Racing Parts Perfect ET Award in the fourth pair of cars down the track this morning!

Barrie Gregory finished up qualified fourth in Supertwins Modified.

Bob Glassup in a now-familiar wheels-up launch. A Personal Best 7.689 was good enough for the top spot in NFAA.

Whoops! Something went away very quickly in the engine of the Wright Racing Top Fuel Dragster, this just the beginning of a big engine explosion.

Darryl Howells didn't quite manage the nine-second pass he has been chasing, but there is still tomorrow.

Dave Bailey is back in the saddle of his Scalded Cat Pro Mod bike this weekend, a 7.642 his best so far.

Another banzai launch from Gordon Appleton's Pro Mod Camaro, this car seems to launch more dramatically than most Pro Mods.

Gordon Smith clocked 0.881 to sixty feet, but the left-hand bank went out pushing the car hard towards the centre line.

No wheelie bars for Graham Allen, just lots of wheels-up launches. Good boy!

Thankfully the front wheel did touch down in time for Graham Ellis to get this straightened out!

John Parkinson is dedicating this weekend to the memory of Rick, a former crew member who passed away earlier in the week.

Jon Webster's stunning MG Street Eliminator made its competitive début this weekend.

Some of the Junior Dragster racers happily passed the time chatting whilst the track was being dried.

Karen McGarrigle is at the wheel of the family Camaro this weekend.

Martin Curbishley continues to get to grips with his new dragster, hopefully Martin will be back for a full season next year.

Martin Hill closed the day with a spectacular flame and thunder show and a half-track pass.

Matthew Seamarks was trying just a bit too hard in the final session of Junior Dragster, as the glowing red bulb indicates!

Michael Geraghty is dialling in nineteen seconds this weekend, which means that the nitrous isn't on his VW Sportsman Beetle.

Mick Payne had two wild rides today with the car fishtailing all over the lane.

Neil Ellis laid down this fog bank of a burnout in the second session.

After a very late start to his season Nick Daniels is really getting to grips with the Comp Bike.

Nick Moore has become a regular name in the Super Street Bike field on this nicely turned out 'Busa.

Paul Watson returned to the Pro Stock Bike wars and it didn't take him long to figure it out again, a 7.630 in the dark giving him the top qualifying position.

With nobody running in the 9.5s today, Richard Sawatzki's 9.643 was good enough for second qualifying position in 9.50 Bike.

Roel Koedam pulled the trigger on his Top Fuel Bike with a 6.334 pass in today's second session, and we know the team are hoping for even better things tomorrow.

Simon Longman easily claimed Wheelie of the Day, despite telling us that they had taken steps to calm down the launch!

Hopefully Steve Johnson is happy tonight as he took the Eurodragster.com / Speedflow Perfect Light Award in the final Super Pro ET qualifying session.

Steve Nash is probably as surprised as anyone that his 9.054 is good enough for the second spot in Street Eliminator, where most people seem to have had problems.

The fun is just beginning here for TJ O'Brien. The front wheel was still crossed up when it touched down and the bike did its best to throw TJ off!

The extremes of todays weather in one picture: lovely sun on the right and heavy dark clouds on the left.
