Good morning and welcome to day 2 of our coverage from the 35th NitrOlympX from the Hockenheimring. It was raining overnight but stopped a couple of hours ago so the track crew are at work drying the surface out. The temperatures today are a lot cooler than yesterday which was hot and humid. It's currently 21C and forecast for a maximum of 24C with wind of 7mph from the north west. Density altitude is forecast at 1500-2000ft with 88-94 grains of water, so still humid.

We had two sessions of qualifying for most classes yesterday however the FIM-E Top Fuel Bike and Super Twin Bike were carried over due to the far shutdown area being damp, Super Pro ET and Pro ET have also been carried over. Today's qualifying will commence with the carried-over third session of Pro ET, Super Gas and Super Pro ET and the other sportsman classes, with FIM-E classes running mid morning depending on weather conditions. We are linking our sportsman reports to the official qualifying lists so you can see the order with one click.
