We have posted a small gallery of pictures taken by Lena Perés, to whom many thanks, and Simon has posted another set of pit notes. You can check out both via the Event Index page.

Tune back in the morning and we'll bring you the news from day two of qualifying, hopefully we will all be rather more busy tomorrow.

15:45

With the rain continuing to pour we have been called for today. We'll give it another go tomorrow. Stay tuned as we have some pitside photographs for you courtesy of Lena Preés and Simon was last seen in the pits getting more notes.

Super Comp qualifying session 1

Great start for Robin Norén, into #1 with an 8.9309 off the trailer. Track crew out checking the other lane, I was thinking bits and pieces from Micke Nilsson's car but in fact we had spots of rain, twenty five minutes' break or thereabouts. Angelica Bäckman and Julie Nataas first at the re-start, they were ready to go into stage before we stopped for the rain shower. Julie's motor now sporting mufflers. Her dragster started to make moves left and right in the second half and she shut it off, in the other lane a breakout 8.855 for Angelica. Next pair and no time for Leif Andersson, jumped the lights just as they ran. Kristina Nygren and Richard Beltramo side-by-side to #2 and #3 next pair.

Next pair in the bleach box and it started to rain again. Stay tuned.

Junior Dragster qualifying session 1

Close RTs for Patrik Lind and Tobias Björnsson in our first pair, 0.0309 to 0.0358. Excellent 0.0053 RT for Simon Brusén in the fourth pair to take #1 at that point, Patrik and Tobias #2 and #3 at the end of the session. Top six qualifiers in the 0.0s.

Super Street qualifying session 1

Pretty much a baselining session mainly with low elevens and a few high 10.8s. Nice 0.0528 RT and 10.9218 for Tomas Hägg in the fourth pair to take #1 at that point, top place not at all unusual for Tomas. Great to see Christer Gustafsson in the family's Dodge Challenger, burnout of the day so far and indeed breakout of the day. Next pair and Ulf Skytte's motor hesitated off the line, we all thought throttle stop but he pulled over to the side of the track and was pushed back. Your reporter's first look at Garth Haworth's Chevelle, very pretty car and running on treaded tyres.

Super Gas qualifying session 1

0.002 breakout for Olav Skervø in the first pair, doesn't come much closer than that. OK 0.001 would have been closer but you get my point. Ulf Andersson with a 9.483 will be working on throttle stop or foot before the next round. Same story for Stefan Andersson who pulled a great wheelie. All breakouts in the first four pairs. First time I have seen Ulli Kegelmann's Chevy Apache pick-up, very nice looking piece and into #1 at that point with an 11.5917! Huge wheelie for Erik Jansson and a pretty large breakout, in the other lane Angelica Larsson took over #1 with a 10.094 which lasted until Bosse Hall took a bye to close the session and took over top spot. Fifteen SG qualified and eleven broken out.

Good morning and welcome from Tierp Arena for our coverage of the Sweden Internationals brought to you in association with Alamo Rent-A-Car.

A webcast is available courtesy of our friends at Smart TV; you can find out more at www.smarttv.se.

Firstly you will see that we have the report formatted so that the qualifying lists are available on the right hand side of the screen. This will save us a lot of copying and pasting of numbers which are already available and will give us more time to write commentaries. We will still be producing our own Pro results when they start to qualify tomorrow. Thanks to those perspicacious readers who have pointed out that the report is currently showing 2012 results - that is because there are no 2013 results yet, as soon as the first set of qualifying lists is uploaded this will change. Thanks to Lelle and the guys at TimeTree for use of the results.

Not an unpleasant day here, mild with a high overcast.

A big Hello to our good buddy and occasional contributing photographer Markus Münch who told us that he will be behind his computer for the next four days. Hello also to the Eurodragsterholics, to everyone who is tuned in from the office, and to Tog's niece Jennipher who wishes she was here.

We are due to start at 09:00 with Junior Dragster; five cycles of qualifying are scheduled today so stay tuned and we'll bring you the news as it happens.
