That's all for today. We will finish with the records situation - subject to the usual ratification of course.

Rikard also has potential records, awaiting back-up, of 6.466 seconds and 346.15 kmh (215.09 mph).
Ian King's 380.95 kmh (236.71 mph) for number one qualifier in Top Fuel Bike will be a record if he can back it up. Ian's
speed needs 377.14 to back up.
Jesper Thiel and Rasmus Olesen are in a race to back up new UEM Pro Stock Bike speed records. Jesper needs to back up
a run of 307.69 kmh (191.19 mph) and Rasmus a run of 306.38 kmh (190.38 mph).
We'll be back in the morning with the news from eliminations. Tog in the UK would like to say a big Thank You to
Åsa Kinnemar and Aila Striem of Speedgroup for reports, pit notes and pictures, Patrik Jacobsson for end-day

Peter Svensson says the reason for the Team Kendall Top Fuel Bike struggling today was they had a new tyre that did not work out to get the traction they needed.
They have changed back to a used tire for the eliminations and beside that all is ok with the bike and they are happy to be in competition.
Supertwin #1 qualifier Per Bengtsson says they have already achieved what they set out to do for this race and that it creates an excitement for the eliminations
that the top three were running ETss so close to each other. A lot of work was done on the bike between round 2 and 3 and Per points out especially what a great team
he has.
Fredrik Fredlund, number 1 qualifier in Pro Stock Bike, says he had problems with tyre shake during every run and that he wishes for better air, but other than that
is very happy with the bike and the team's work.

Nils Lagerlof from Sweden was all smiles as he got to set a new Personal Best with a 6.77 in the first round of qualifying, and was number 1 qualifier in Funny Bike
ahead of Rickard Gustafsson's 6.80.
Nate Gagnon of Canada is riding a V-60 bike which he is on for the first time ever. The bike belongs to his Crew Chief and tuner Ron Houniet. Nate says that he feels
confident as the bike is pretty identical as his own bike. He had a bumpy ride but was thrilled to be no #2 qualifier and says the bike has run a quickest of 6.37 before,
but that the speed is in the region of its fastest ever.
Australian rider Mark Ashelford set a new Personal Best of 6.61 and with that qualified number 1 in Supertwin. The pass was nice and smooth and the team look forward
to the next run.
Ian King was a bit surprised that his first pass at Gardermoen was good for a 6.25 which is a big improvement and the quickest run so far with the new bike.
He said the pass was not without problems, he had to get off and on the throttle once and thought the run was in the high six-second range. Everything seems
ok with the bike and Ian looks forward to the next run.
Per Bengtsson is number 2 Supertwin qualifier after session one at 6.71, behind Mark Ashelford. Per said that the run was what they expected from the
selected set-up. He says that the Gardermoen track has traction all the way from start to finish, something no other track this season has shown in the
same way. The team are following a plan and for next run should be able to improve the ET .
Greger Johansson set a new Personal Best of 6.86 and is fifth in the qualifying list. He said after the run that he shut off a bit early and was a bit surprised and
was not prepared for the performance at this level, his previous PB was 6.98.
