And that is sadly all what was able to run today. The curfew is at 8oclock. We will try to sort pictures and do a gallery. As soon as we hear anything about the time schedule for tomorrow we will post it, of course!

We just got the word that racing will start at 14 and we will run one round of Sportsman classes before FIA and UEM classes. The temperature is rising fast now. According to many racers we have spoken to, this morning's rain might have been very good for the rest of the day. The track was cleaned and cooled down a bit. Yesterday was almost too hot says many. The teams are talking about over 30 degrees in the shade under the canopies during yesterday afternoon afternoon.
While waiting for the racing, we have posted some pit notes which you can check out via the event index page.
13:10
The rain has gone, we have blue skies around us, and the track crew are working very hard on the strip.
10:30
Good morning, and welcome to the almost-live report from FHRA Nitro Nationals at Alastaro. After having several days with very hot weather it is cloudy today and a drizzling rain makes it impossible to run. Original plan was 2 cycles of qualifying today, 12 and 16. Forecast says that it will clear up at 2 and we just have to wait and see what will happen.
Yesterday was all dedicated to sportsman racing and they had a great day in 28 degrees and sun. I should of course have been practicing my typing skills over the winter to be able to keep up with all classes, like Master Tog. But I havent, so like last year, I will do my best to give you reports from the FIA and UEM classes.
