At 10:30 last night Autosport Engineering had been broken down but traces of the Show (and sausage rolls) remained.

It seems a bit unreal that you can just drive a tractor and trailer into the Hall.

Kelly and Debbie ready for a long night.

Hall 9 was in a bit of a mess after Autosport Engineering was broken down.

Don't push that button...oh, too late.

Andy Carter's show dragster and Podzilla were first into the hall.

Kelly and Debbie came prepared with a car full of ready-filled goodie bags.

Is this what they mean by plastic breasts?

James is the latest addition to the SPR staff and is already into Nitro the Dragon.

Darren, Paul and some metalwork.

Kelly on polishing duties on SPR's Junior Dragster.

Darren puts together the hospitality suite porch.

All hands on deck to move the Showtime Fuel FC into position.

SPR's Podzilla Monster Truck needed to be moved, so Rick Cuthbert volunteered to help...

...not a success so enter Martin Hill...

...who drove Podzilla into position.

The vehicles in place...

...SPR's staff knocked off for the night...

...OK, morning.

We're still looking forward to seeing Martin Hill's Jet Bike run in anger.

SPR's Junior is a regular at shows and is always a hit with the kids.

The display covers quite a lot of floor space...

...with enough room even for SPR's very nifty double-decked mobile hospitality suite.

Martin Hill's Fireforce FC usually has first-timers open-mouthed.

We carefully chose the angle of this shot so as not to show the Top Fueller's flat front tyre, which was sorted out before the Show opened.

Darren discovered mud on the tyres of the Fireforce Jet FC so did some rapid last-minute cleaning.

For more information on the vehicle behind Showtime, see Luke Robinson.

Just before opening time, the FC's body was lifted.

Ready for opening.

Andy Carter may be European Top Fuel Dragster Champion but he knows his place.

This picture was taken just before the Show opened this morning...

...it was a bit busier a few minutes later.

Kirstie discussing crew matters with Fuel tuner Eddie Corr.

Nitro the Dragon ready to meet his public.

Now we know why Martin Hill hasn't got on his Jet Bike.

Autosport Engineering having finished, Andy Robinson's Pro Mod motor is now on the Anglo American Oil Company stand.

We'd heard rumours of a product tie-in between Lucas Oil and Mothercare.

Despite the late finish Kelly was chipper enough a few hours later.

This guy was making pictures by rolling model cars through paint, although Kirstie openly admits that she took this picture because he had a nice butt.

Joel Spencer was the first fan to buy a copy of Andy Carter's book King of Europe which launched at 2:00 this afternoon.

FIA European Top Fuel Dragster Champion Andy and co-author Dan Welberry autographed copies of the book.

No motor show launch is complete without promotional totty and the very attractive, pleasant and hard-working Lucas Oil girls were on hand.
